Couples Seminar: The Marriage Journey

This weekend marriage enrichment seminar is facilitated by both Margaret and Gary Phillips. Mr. Phillips holds a Masters degree in counseling from Liberty University and is employed by Thomas Nelson Publishing Company. This seminar gives couples an opportunity to get a tune-up and assess where they are on the road of married life. They examine the vehicle, look afresh at their map and take a look at their baggage. They will learn more about the danger of potholes, how to make wise decisions at detour signs, and ways to repair a broken down vehicle. The seminar is a marriage-changing experience. One participant wrote “the Journey was a renewal of the heart, giving fresh purpose to a trip together.”

These programs are tailored to the desired purpose of groups. They are one day experiential workshops guaranteed to inspire commitment, unity, and cooperation. This hands on style of learning, using low ropes adventure exercises, is designed to provide an opportunity to experience the value of working together as a unit, while discovering each individual’s value to the group or within the coupleship.

Women’s Seminars:

The Fabric of Your Life: God can take a tattered and torn piece of fabric and turn it into a beautiful tapestry. With His very own hands, he picks up our soiled cloth, cleanses and ments it, weaving something durable with a mysterious scarlet thread running through the center.

I Can Fly: Even though we are made to soar like eagles, sometimes we find ourselves scratching around on the earth like chickens. This seminar is meant to inspire women to take flight once again and to experience healing in their wings.
